Four Months

Our baby turned 4 months old on Thursday.  Here are some of the reasons we love our baby this month...

• He can roll over from his back to his tummy on the right side
• He loves to stick everything his hands get ahold of into his mouth
• He can put himself to sleep for bedtime and naptime, but still likes to snuggle
• He is still a chunky monkey 
• His smile and laugh brighten every day 

Tie Onesie

For my second sewing project, I appliqued Jaxson a tie onesie to wear to church.  I think it turned out pretty cute, and our little baby just makes everything cuter :)

I Can Sew!

Becky, my mother-in-law gave me a sewing machine for Christmas.  I've been nervous to pull it out because I've never really sewed anything on my own.  I've made a couple of quilts with my mom and made things in Home Ec when I was in 8th grade, but this is the first time I have made anything by myself.  I finally pulled out my machine and I made Jaxson a tag toy...and he likes it!

It's a success!

Rolling Over!

Our baby is rolling over!  Jaxson rolled over for the first time on Monday and hasn't stopped.  Whenever I lay him on his back he immediately rolls over.  He loves it, but his arms get stuck and he gets mad until I turn him over again :).

Visit with Breeann

My good friend Breeann Law Zitting was visiting her family in Firestone, CO which is only 40 min. away from Golden.  So Jaxson and I went out to see her to visit and so she could see my little man.  We've been friends since we were little girls, and now we are all grown up and I have a baby!
