Fall Leaves

On Sunday Tyson and I took a walk around our apartment complex with our hot chocolate and played in the crunchy fall leaves :)

 

 
 

37 Weeks-Baby's Room!

On Oct. 3rd, my Grandma Zee came to help me set up the baby's room...she also brought 2 surprises, Aunt Ann and Aunt Linda.  His room is still not quite finished, but it is about ready for his arrival!

Grandpa Sawyer 1923-2012

My Grandpa Sawyer passed away on Sept. 14.  I will miss him so much, but I am grateful for the gospel and my knowledge that I will see him again.  Tyson and I were able to go to the funeral in Logan, UT, the services were beautiful.  Here is the obituary and some pictures of Grandpa Sawyer.
 
Charles Francis Sawyer 1923-2012

Charles Francis Sawyer passed away at age 89, Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, due to natural causes while sleeping. He was born April 11, 1923, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his parents James and Elsie (Koch) Sawyer. Charles married the love of his life, Lois White, and they spent 65 wonderful  years together.He was a very active member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and going to the temple with his wife. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather and husband. He had values all men could look up to.  He served in the Navy during World War II. He had so many amazing stories to share with us. He was a master carpenter and spent many years working for Logan Parks and Recreation. He could create all sorts of neat things out of wood.Charles had a love for his family, telling stories, gardening, cooking (he could make any kind of pancake), painting and music (he played church hymns on the harmonica). He is survived by his wife Lois (White) Sawyer; children Kenneth and Robbie Sawyer, Kathy Hall, Sharon and Michael Jarrett, Patricia Page and Robert and Bliss Sawyer; 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Charles is a very special man and will be missed dearly. He will forever remain in our memories and our hearts.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 22, 2012, at the LDS Stake Center, 155 W. 400 North in Smithfield. A viewing will take place from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. Burial will follow the services at the Smithfield Cemetery.
