Field Camp

For the last 6 weeks of the semester, Tyson was at Field Camp Mon-Fri doing Geologic Mapping.  It was tough being apart so long, but he learned a lot and got a few good pictures :).

Swan Valley, ID

The Beaverhead Mountains, ID

Hieroglyphics in The Book Cliffs, UT

Some pretty Kinnikinnick Quartzite

Near where Tyson was working there was an old mining town

A lean-to Tyson built when it was raining :)

One of the areas they stopped there was a glacier.  They had a snowball fight in the middle of July!

Bear Lake with Sawyers and Laws

During Tyson's last week of field camp, I went with my family and the Law family to Bear Lake for a few days.  We stayed in a cabin and played at the beach and with jet ski's :).

Fourth of July

Tyson was able to come home in the middle of the week for the fourth of July :).  We went to the Rexburg parade, got some candy, and rode the carousel.

We got a little more dizzy than we thought on the carousel :)

Then we hung out with Tom and Kenna and did a little swimming, bridge jumping, hamburger eating, and fireworks...

Swimming at Monkey Rock

Tyson, Tom and Kenna jumped off the bridge, the pregnant lady watched and took pictures :)

We watched the Rexburg fireworks and did some of our own in our back yard
HAPPY FOURTH!
